Farming for Jesus
Planting seeds and expecting a great harvest
Farming for Jesus is a ministry born out of the need to meet the demand for food in the community and people and families in need. Some of this food used at Mighty Men every year.
Farmers dedicate a portion of their land they are farming for the current season. The ministry helps with the input cost minimizing the financial pressure on the farmers. Once the harvest is completed the crops are donated to the ministry. Some farmers use this opportunity to sow back into the community and help enhance the Kingdom of God.
Like the parable of the sower in the gospel of Matthew the harvest is always abundant and the harvest does not only feed people during the Mighty Men event but is used to provide for families who desperately need food.
